NEW BERLIN, Wisc. -- Micro Estimating Systems, Inc. (New Berlin, Wisc.) has established its first regional office. The office will be located in New London, North Carolina to oversee distribution and sales in several southeastern states.

The regional office will be managed by Lee Allen, according to Chuck Beyer, Micro Estimating president. Allen previously sold Micro's Machine Shop Estimating software as an independent distributor in North and South Carolina before being named Southeast Regional Sales Manager. He will provide technical and training assistance to Micro software dealers and customers in thirteen states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. In addition, Allen has been named to spearhead introduction of Micro Estimating's latest module, Fabrication Estimating.
